Ensure standardization of information provided regarding exam preparation, deadlines, and instructions. Monitor medical and equipment schedule occupancy rates to optimize resources. Monitor and propose usability improvements for scheduling systems. Lead scheduling attendants and support staff. Assign tasks and develop work schedules. Deliver ongoing feedback and training on humanized service and specific exam protocols. Engage the team in achieving quality and productivity targets. Ensure clarity and empathy in communication with patients and their families. Resolve critical scheduling-related issues, questions, and conflicts. Implement excellence protocols for patient reception and guidance. Develop and monitor managerial reports with performance indicators to support strategic decision-making and audit presentations. Support the finance department in controlling health plan authorizations, deadlines, and claim rejections related to unperformed exams. Participate in the implementation of new systems or technological enhancements for process automation. Ensure compliance with internal policies, ANS regulations, and healthcare industry best practices. Contribute to the diagnostic center’s strategic planning by aligning the scheduling department with institutional goals. Propose innovations to reduce no-show rates, such as active confirmation, automated reminders, and time slot flexibility. Support patient loyalty campaigns and relationship programs. Act as a liaison among front-desk staff, clinical staff, nursing team, and operations to integrate schedules.
