Repair walls, floors, roofs, and sanitary installations Perform maintenance services and small-scale masonry, concrete, and other material construction work, including laying ceramic flooring, bricks, and wall tiles; cladding walls, ceilings, and slabs; and providing final finishing—ensuring service quality standards. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform masonry, concrete, and other material construction work during renovations, modifying or expanding the Institution’s properties; * Verify characteristics of required work by reviewing blueprints and specifications to guide selection of appropriate materials and execution methods; * Prepare mortar for laying bricks, tiles, wall tiles, and related materials by mixing cement, sand, and water in proper proportions; * Construct foundations using stones and cement to form bases for walls, fences, and similar structures; * Lay bricks, tiles, flooring, and wall tiles in horizontal rows or according to design patterns, bonding them with mortar to build walls, lintels, pillars, steps, etc.; * Plaster constructed structures using lime or cement-and-sand mortars, ensuring vertical alignment and leveling; * Construct concrete or other-material bases to enable machine installation; * Repair walls, floors, roofs, roof framing, sanitary fixtures, anchoring bases of damaged machinery, etc.; * Perform and assume responsibility for other related tasks as required by the Department; * Receive materials purchased for maintenance purposes; * Grout areas covered with wall tiles, mosaics, or joints of sinks and countertops. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Elementary Education; * Required knowledge of construction, renovation, and civil engineering activities. **SPDM** – Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association, federally, state-, and municipally recognized as being of public utility, respectively under Decrees No. 57.925 dated 03/04/1966, No. 40.103 dated 05/17/1962, and No. 8.911 dated 07/30/1970. This is a low-complexity emergency unit belonging to the Municipal Government of São Paulo, designed for unscheduled patient demand, offering 54 observation beds across General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopedics and Traumatology, and Pediatrics, managed by **SPDM** – Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina, under a solid partnership with the Municipal Government, aligned with guiding principles of Brazil’s Unified Health System (SUS), ensuring comprehensive, high-quality hospital care.
