Coordinate the Communication team and activities, focusing on institutional governance and sustainability, promoting the institution’s presence and its programming across communication channels, conducting analysis, strategy definition, planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of all related processes.
**Main Duties/Responsibilities:**
* Develop, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate communication actions and strategies, aligned with the mission and values of the Museu Afro Brasil Emanoel Araujo, while safeguarding its institutional image and ensuring broad dissemination of its initiatives, cultural programming, and services;
* Draft/review/update the Communication Plan for the Museu Afro Brasil Emanoel Araujo;
* Restructure, jointly with the Artistic Directorate, the Visual Identity Manual and the Writing and Style Manual of the museum;
* Ensure compliance with actions, targets, and contractual obligations related to the incumbent’s area of responsibility as stipulated in the Management Contract and the Annual Work Plan;
* Coordinate, monitor, and approve the development and production of communication materials (texts and images), verifying their accuracy and coherence, while interfacing with the institution’s press office;
* Coordinate the management of institutional communication channels: website, social media, institutional emails, etc.;
* Research and propose new tools, technological resources, media, formats, and communication initiatives;
* Participate in exhibition openings and other museum events, welcoming various press outlets;
* Prepare periodic reports: internal reports and those required by routine obligations and information commitments stipulated in the Management Contract and other oversight bodies;
* Support the Directorate in developing action strategies to expand, diversify, build, and retain the institution’s audience, implementing relationship-building activities with target audiences and prospecting and establishing institutional partnerships;
* Collaborate with the Communications Advisory Office of the São Paulo State Secretariat of Culture, Economy, and Creative Industries, supporting proposed network-based initiatives and adhering to its guidelines.
**Prerequisites:**
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, or related fields.
* Proficiency in Portuguese, with excellent writing skills and experience in content production and press relations, especially within the cultural sector.
* Solid experience in Institutional Communication, particularly within cultural institutions.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media management platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and sponsored-link campaigns.
* Knowledge of Photoshop and Cultural Management.
* Proficiency in online platforms such as Zoom, Meet, Teams, YouTube, Streamyard, and related tools.
* Proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, commitment to results, dedication to the team and AMAB, cooperative spirit, teamwork ability, and people management capability.
* Languages: Fluent English
**Working Hours:**
Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break. Availability to work outside regular hours, on weekends, holidays, and travel.
