Job Summary: Metallurgy technician with experience in laboratory activities and operation of equipment related to metallurgical processes, focused on characterization and experimentation. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in metallographic characterization and furnace operation 2. Preparation and supervision of experiments with metallic alloys 3. Teamwork, communication, and organization **Summary:** Metallurgy technician with experience in laboratory activities related to metallographic characterization, and operation of equipment related to metallurgical processes, such as furnaces. **Job Responsibilities:** **Key duties include:** * Preparation of casting experiments for alloys (charge preparation, sand molding, etc.); * Supervision and execution of experiments for producing metallic alloy powders via inert gas atomization; * Characterization of metallic alloy powders produced by inert gas atomization (sieving, microscopy, particle size analysis, and rheology); * Preparation, supervision, and execution of experiments using metallic additive manufacturing equipment; * Preparation of samples for microstructural characterization using optical and electron microscopy. **Minimum Qualifications / Basic Requirements:** * Metallurgy Technician; * Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) **Education:** * Metallurgy Technician **Desirable Qualifications:** Laboratory or industrial experience. Scientific initiation experience or internships will also be considered. **Experience:** Minimum 1 year in a laboratory or industrial environment. **Specific Courses and/or Skills:** It is essential that the candidate be able to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly, and be well-organized. **Salary Range** - R$ 3.000 to R$ 3.600,00 **Work Location** – IPT Institute for Technological Research
