Requirements: **Responsibilities** * Develop and enhance Java microservices using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 3\.x, focusing on critical banking/fintech customer journeys (e.g., billing/collection/payroll deduction). * Implement and maintain asynchronous/event-driven integrations with Kafka and RabbitMQ, ensuring resilience and traceability. * Publish and operate services on Azure, applying appropriate security, configuration, and deployment standards for cloud environments. * Containerize applications using Docker and run them on Kubernetes (AKS), following best practices for deployment, scalability, and application health. * Ensure quality through automated testing (e.g., JUnit/Mockito), API contracts, and documentation (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI). * Implement observability (metrics, logs, tracing) and perform troubleshooting using tools such as Prometheus/Grafana/Elastic/Dynatrace (or equivalent Azure ecosystem tools). * Collaborate with agile teams (ceremonies, refinements, estimations), working with Git/Jira and continuous delivery. **Mandatory Requirements** * Experience as a Mid-Level Java Developer with Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 3\.x in microservice architecture. * Hands-on experience with messaging/streaming: Kafka and RabbitMQ. * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS). * Experience with Azure Cloud (deployment/execution/integrations and security best practices). * Practical experience with observability (Prometheus/Grafana/Elastic/Dynatrace or similar tools). * Automated testing (JUnit/Mockito) and API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI). * Experience with Git and agile workflows (e.g., Jira). **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with Spring WebFlux/reactive programming and/or batch processing with Spring Batch. * Prior experience in the banking/fintech domain (payroll deduction, billing, collections, financial transactions). * Knowledge of resilience patterns (circuit breaker, retries, idempotency) in asynchronous flows. * Experience with security/authentication (OAuth2/JWT/SSO) and API hardening.
