Conducting functional tests and equipment validation Technical Support Technician Description: We are seeking a Technical Support Technician to join our team. The professional will be responsible for providing technical support to users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment. Responsibilities: * Perform technical inspection of returned equipment (RMA), identifying defects, damages, or misuse * Conduct functional tests, diagnostics, and validation of equipment (ONTs, routers, switches, power supplies, etc.) * Perform preset/configuration of equipment according to company technical guidelines * Classify equipment as suitable for reuse, repair, or disposal * Record analyses, tests, and equipment status in the system (RMA tracking) * Support the technical inventory team in organizing, identifying, and ensuring traceability of equipment * Collaborate with technical departments and inventory to ensure proper RMA workflow * Comply with internal procedures regarding quality, safety, and standardization Requirements: * Proven experience in technical support * Knowledge of operating systems * Ability to efficiently and proactively resolve problems * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Completed high school education
