If you identify with our purpose, shall we together imagine a future and engineer it? **Responsibilities and duties** **Summary description:** Execute necessary actions for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Occupational Safety Management System, monitoring working conditions and identifying adverse situations through inspections and systematic application of legislation and corporate procedures, in order to preserve employees' health and physical integrity, as well as promoting awareness for preventive action on relevant topics. **Detailed description:** * Monitor compliance with occupational safety laws, inspecting work areas/sites, assessing behaviors and risk factors, guiding proper employee conduct; * Prepare, organize, and deliver training sessions, as well as lead DDS, meetings, and others as needed; * Evaluate safety documentation from suppliers accessing company facilities, ensuring their alignment with environmental operating configurations to prevent government penalties and ensure employee safety; assess/develop JSA (Job Safety Analysis), audit field work permits, safety checklists, and lead SHE campaigns; * Monitor and investigate all workplace incidents/accidents, visiting the site, verifying conditions, analyzing the incident in a group setting, preparing reports, and recommending appropriate preventive and control measures; * Perform activities related to compliance with safety regulations according to planning, supporting CIPA processes, simulation exercises, mandatory training, and others, as well as inspecting safety and firefighting equipment, ensuring they are in perfect condition and operational; * Monitor measurements of physical, chemical, biological, mechanical, and ergonomic hazards within facilities by visiting areas, ensuring regulatory compliance and employee safety; * Carry out activities outlined in the PGR (Risk Management Program) and other specific area programs; * Support management in handling critical processes within the unit, assisting in developing training maps, risk management, operational procedures, and others, focusing on health and safety aspects; * Perform assigned tasks according to received plans, under supervision or support from more technically experienced professionals or immediate supervisors, even if only for occasional guidance or problem resolution. Perform predictive and preventive maintenance by conducting quick, detailed, and specific inspections on energized and/or de-energized transmission lines to comply with the maintenance plan; . Perform corrective maintenance arising from anomalies in energized and/or de-energized transmission lines identified during quick, detailed, and specific inspections (cleaning access roads, clearing pathways, vegetation cutting, tower restoration, replacement of insulators and hardware, repair of conductors/OPGW/lightning protection cables, grounding of fences, among others...), in order to restore safe and operational conditions; . Perform, under supervision, specialized maintenance on energized lines, following Engineering procedures and requirements established by Occupational Safety; . Respond to emergency and urgent situations by performing special inspections, locating and identifying causes of automatic outages; . Contribute to the conservation and maintenance of facilities and branch offices, ensuring proper infrastructure conditions for adequate development of activities; . Report defects/anomalies identified during inspections in the maintenance management software, aiming to keep corrective maintenance planning up to date; . Provide technical information regarding failures, as well as equipment and system performance, reporting to immediate supervisor to support analysis by Engineering specialists; . Ensure proper use and preservation of transmission line maintenance tools and instruments, aiming to maintain safety and company assets; . Establish routine contact with landowners through whose properties transmission lines pass, identifying and reporting dissatisfaction points to the supervisor, in order to maintain good relationships and ensure free access for service execution; . Contribute to the preparation of inspection reports, following engineering pre-established standards, to meet deadlines and legal requirements of the current contract; . Monitor and/or assist in commissioning and reception of new equipment and transmission lines, following the commissioning plan and executive project, to obtain approval for commercial operation; . Assist substation teams in carrying out predictive, preventive, and corrective activities to meet maintenance plans and established goals; . Operate company vehicles complying with traffic laws and fleet policies, ensuring safety, asset integrity, and the image of COTESA and the Client; . Receive materials and equipment, controlling, organizing, cleaning, and maintaining spare parts in good condition, following established procedures, suggesting improvements in storage conditions to keep inventory in optimal usability; . Comply with legal regulations and internal procedures, correctly using and maintaining PPE and collective protection equipment, acting preventively during activities, identifying risk situations, to safeguard health and safety; . Monitor area indicators to understand process outcomes; .
