Opportunity to learn baking and pastry techniques The Bakery Production Assistant (CBO 5135\-05\) provides direct support to the baker, preparing ingredients (mise en place), shaping bread, cakes, and savory snacks, operating ovens and mixers, and cleaning the work environment. Responsibilities include ensuring organization, inventory control, and compliance with food safety regulations. **Detailed Job Description:** * **Preparation (Mise en place):** Weighing, sorting, and preparing ingredients according to technical specifications. * **Production:** Assisting in mixing, preparing doughs, fillings, and toppings for bread, cakes, and pastries. * **Shaping and Baking:** Shaping bread, cakes, and savory snacks, and assisting with oven time/temperature control. * **Cleaning and Organization:** Keeping work surfaces, equipment, and utensils clean (sanitization) in accordance with health surveillance regulations. * **General Support:** Supplying the production line, packaging finished products, and assisting with inventory counting. **Common Requirements:** * Completed elementary education. * Prior experience in this field is a plus. * Agility, attention to detail, and teamwork. * Basic knowledge of food hygiene regulations. **Key Competencies:** * Manual dexterity. * Punctuality and attendance. * Willingness to learn baking and pastry techniques.
