If you are an organized, courteous, committed, proactive, and passionate Occupational Safety Technician, **join our team!** Grow with us and make a difference in an environment that values people and safety. **Grendene is the place for you!** **Responsibilities and Duties*** **Collaborate with the Health Department** in implementing the OSH Policy, ensuring preventive practices that promote safe and healthy work environments. * **Monitor and assess occupational hazards** (physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, and accident-related), ensuring they remain within safe limits for employees. * **Engage and align all employees** with Occupational and Asset Safety policies, reinforcing safe behavior and the correct use of PPE and collective protective equipment (CPE). * **Oversee and ensure execution** of the Safe Behavior Index (SBI) routines at the unit. * **Conduct regular inspections** to ensure workplace hygiene and cleanliness across all company areas. * **Keep health and safety programs up-to-date and compliant** (e.g., Risk Management Program [PGR], Ergonomic Assessment Program [PROERGO], Technical Report on Hazardous Agents [LTCAT], Prevention Program for Risks [PPR], etc.) and support development of the Occupational Health Program (PCMSO). * **Ensure proper use and storage** of chemical products, maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SDS) updated at all times. * **Train and supervise prevention teams**, such as Fire Brigades and Internal Accident Prevention Committees (CIPA), ensuring their activities comply with company guidelines. * **Plan and promote educational campaigns**, strengthening a prevention culture among employees. * **Monitor water quality control and pest management**, escalating non-conformities to the responsible department. * **Support corporate defense strategies** in labor and social security proceedings, in coordination with the HR Administration Department. * **Provide technical guidance to teams and other departments**, ensuring proper use of equipment and related operational routines. * **Assume responsibility for asset security infrastructure**, including surveillance, patrols, and reception duties, where applicable. * **Propose continuous improvements** in area processes, contributing to the evolution of safety practices. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory:** * Completed Occupational Safety Technician qualification with active registration at the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE). **Desirable:** * Completed undergraduate degree in: Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Law, Mechatronics, Pedagogy, Social Sciences, or related fields. **Advantages:** * Training in NR\-10, NR\-12, NR\-33, or NR\-35. * Knowledge of PGR/GRO. * Ergonomics training (NR\-17\). * Industrial sector experience is advantageous. * Internal auditing experience (ISO 45001 or 14001\). **Additional Information** Unit: **Grendene \- Crato** Our story has been built over 50 years, driven by simplicity and collaboration — by hands that, with every step, imprint their love for everything they do!
