**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree in Library Science;
* Prior experience in a school library will be considered an advantage.
**Required Skills:**
* Knowledge of classification, cataloging, and collection organization;
* Familiarity with children's, young adult, and supplementary literature;
* Organizational skills and attention to detail;
* Strong oral and written communication skills;
* Ability to mediate reading and guide users;
* Creativity to develop reading projects;
* Interpersonal skills when working with children, adolescents, and educators.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Organize, catalog, classify, and maintain the school library collection up-to-date;
* Manage loans, returns, and physical and/or digital collection control;
* Develop initiatives and projects to promote reading and foster reader development;
* Support students and teachers in research and proper use of information sources;
* Guide users on library usage and available resources;
* Plan and implement pedagogical activities in collaboration with the school team;
* Ensure conservation of the collection and the library space;
* Prepare reports, records, and library usage indicators;
* Participate in pedagogical meetings and institutional projects;
* Assist in selecting and updating bibliographic materials according to the pedagogical proposal.
