Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills. **Job Description:** A Cashier is an important member of the customer service team at the packaging distributor, responsible for processing financial transactions, assisting customers, and maintaining accurate sales records. This professional plays a crucial role in shaping the customer experience and managing the store’s financial operations. **Main Responsibilities:** Customer Service: Greet customers courteously, assist them during transactions, and answer questions regarding products and pricing. Cashier Operations: Scan items, calculate purchase totals, accept cash, credit or debit card payments, and provide correct change. Document Verification: Verify the authenticity of banknotes, checks, and cards to ensure secure acceptance. Returns and Exchanges Processing: Assist customers with product returns and exchanges according to company procedures. Fiscal Receipt Issuance: Issue and deliver official fiscal receipts for customer purchases. Cash Drawer Restocking: Maintain adequate change and fiscal documents in the cash drawer. Cash Drawer Closing: Perform end-of-shift cash reconciliation, ensuring that the final amount matches all recorded transactions. Security and Compliance: Adhere to all security policies and procedures, including fraud prevention measures.
