Job Summary: We are seeking an Elementary School Teacher (Early Years) responsible for planning and delivering lessons, promoting student development, and maintaining ongoing communication with families. Position: Elementary School Teacher (Early Years) We are Natal's first bilingual school and the sixth Maple Bear school established in Brazil. We operate in early childhood education and elementary education (both early and later years). Our vision is to be recognized by families, students, and staff as the top choice for early childhood and elementary education in Rio Grande do Norte—for both learning and working. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Plan and deliver lessons creatively. * Promote integrated and meaningful development of reading, writing, and oral communication skills. * Apply diverse pedagogical strategies to ensure learning and active participation of all students. * Continuously assess student performance, design assessment tools, and document progress and challenges. * Participate in pedagogical meetings, ongoing professional development, and collective planning sessions. * Maintain ongoing dialogue with families to foster school-family partnership. * Ensure students' well-being, safety, and holistic development, both inside and outside the classroom. * Adhere to and support the institution's norms and values. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Pedagogy (Teacher Licensure). * Preferred: Proven experience as a homeroom teacher in the Early Years of Elementary Education. * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Capacity for planning, organization, and teamwork. **Additional Information** * Ongoing professional development in literacy instruction or active learning methodologies. * Familiarity with educational technologies and use of digital resources in the classroom. * Experience in bilingual schools or project-based learning approaches (if applicable). * Socio-emotional competencies such as empathy, active listening, and proactivity.
