Description:
Mandatory Requirements:
* Completed undergraduate degree in Nursing;
* Active and unrestricted registration with the Regional Nursing Council (COREN);
* Specialization in Adult Emergency and Critical Care;
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role in Adult Emergency and Critical Care.
Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinate, execute, and evaluate nursing activities in the emergency department, providing patient care while remaining vigilant for complications and making immediate decisions regarding patient treatment to ensure high-quality, safe healthcare delivery;
* Manage shift schedules;
* Train and develop the team;
* Monitor adherence to safety protocols;
* Evaluate staff performance;
* Manage nursing resources;
* Communicate with other departments within the institution;
* Handle administrative tasks;
* Focus on continuous improvement of healthcare services.
