Join our Commercial team — don’t miss this opportunity! **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES** **You will do here:** * **Supplier Research:** Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, delivery timelines, and payment terms. * **Quotations and Negotiations:** Request quotations for products and services, negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, and secure favorable agreements. * **Purchase Requests:** Enter approved purchase orders into the commercial system; for new suppliers or products, complete the respective supplier and product registrations. * **Purchase Recordkeeping:** Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices. * **Inventory Control:** Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure stock levels align with company needs. * **Payment Approvals:** Review and approve supplier invoices for payment, ensuring compliance with contractual terms. * **Supplier Relationship Management:** Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitor performance, and resolve issues as needed. * **Supplier Evaluation:** Participate in ongoing supplier evaluations based on criteria such as quality, pricing, and punctuality. * **Market Analysis:** Conduct market research to identify trends, innovations, and cost-saving opportunities. **REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS** **Must-Have Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Logistics, Commercial Management, Economics, or related fields. * **Experience:** + Prior experience in procurement, supply chain, or supplier negotiations. + Experience in cost analysis, pricing strategies, and inventory management. + Experience purchasing materials (preferably within the company’s segment, e.g., packaging and disposable goods). + **Technical Skills:** - Intermediate or advanced Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.). - ERP system knowledge (e.g., WinThor is a plus). - Familiarity with procurement KPIs. - Knowledge of taxes (ICMS, ST) is a plus. - **Behavioral Competencies:** * Negotiation skills. * Analytical and strategic mindset. * Organization and deadline management. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Proactivity and sense of urgency. * **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience in wholesale, distribution, or retail sectors. + Familiarity with suppliers in this segment. + Experience with demand planning (forecasting). **ADDITIONAL INFORMATION** **Benefits:** * Performance bonuses * On-site meals * Transportation allowance or commuter pass * Dental plan * Life insurance * Birthday day off * Corporate mobile phone * Corporate laptop * Corporate university **GROW WITH US!** O Baratão das Embalagens is the fastest-growing company in the packaging distribution and sales sector.
