* Main responsibilities * **Planting:** Sow plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees, following landscaping plans or specific instructions. Skills and qualifications * **Technical knowledge:** Understanding of plant types, cultivation needs, landscaping, irrigation systems, fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides. * **Physical skills:** Good physical strength, fitness, vision, hearing, balance, and ability to remain in uncomfortable positions for long periods. * **Problem-solving skills:** Ability to identify pests, diseases, and environmental issues and solve them creatively. * **Interpersonal skills:** Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, as well as good communication. * **Plant maintenance:** Perform watering, pruning, fertilizing, replanting, and transplanting, as well as monitor and treat health problems such as pests and diseases. * **Soil maintenance:** Prepare soil, plow, fertilize, and improve quality for optimal plant growth. * **Weed control:** Remove unwanted plants using manual or chemical methods. * **Equipment use:** Operate and maintain equipment such as trimmers, lawn mowers, and pruners. * **Cleaning:** Maintain cleanliness and organization of gardens, pathways, and paved areas, and ensure the preservation of tools and equipment.
