Preventing fraud and incidents in facilities **About DHL** --------------- .**Job Description** --------------------- ASSET SECURITY ASSISTANT Responsible for advising the site Security Coordinator regarding site operational teams, conducting cargo audits, patrols, inspections, etc. Managing assets (cargo materials, cabinets, key control, alarms, cameras, emergency doors), including related documentation; systematically inspecting facilities to prevent fraud and incidents. Promptly responding to requests from the Security Control Center.**Requirements** -------------- High School Diploma Basic computer skills Basic Excel proficiency Basic PowerPoint proficiency Experience in security field \- Preferred**Responsibilities** --------------------- Main Responsibilities. 1\. Ensure compliance with internal standards outlined in the DHL Master Plan; 2\. Support discipline and organization to ensure inventory accuracy in operations; 3\. Verify proper use of ID badges and uniforms by all employees; 4\. Conduct inspections of operations, reporting damage to assets and stored goods, as well as controlling docks, ramps, evacuation routes, and access points to ensure they remain properly secured; 5\. Conduct cargo and operational process audits; 6\. Investigate internal site incidents using electronic resources and operational procedures; 7\. Maintain systematic control of activities related to the Security Department across the DHL network (in synergy with the Security Supervisor/Coordinator); 8\. Monitor inspections of cabinets, vehicles, and personnel; 9\. Ensure consistent use of PPE and safe working conditions; 10\. Adhere to occupational health, safety, and environment (HSE) concepts and regulations; 11\. Prioritize safety in all activities; 12\. Ensure compliance with safety (HSE) concepts and regulations; 13\. Provide support during loading, assessing asset security risks.
