· Plan, schedule, and supervise production activities in the forging and heat treatment areas; · Monitor daily KPI efficiency per manufacturing unit, paying attention to headcount, production volume per production line, jointly with team leaders taking necessary actions; e.g., in case of production stoppage, assign new tasks (generating standard hours) to involved operators, avoiding labor inefficiency. · Execute production schedule as defined by planning through work orders, interfacing with the planning department whenever doubts arise or any kind of clarification is needed; · Ensure achievement of established targets within quality standards; · Identify factors causing waste and machine downtime, contributing to reduction of manufacturing costs by proposing necessary corrective actions; · Monitor machine hourly rate costs, taking actions to minimize input, electricity, gas, oil, and other expenses; · Plan preventive maintenance together with PCP and Maintenance departments based on production line performance; · Propose opportunities for improvement in work methods and production processes, making necessary recommendations to increase productivity; · Optimize machine setup and adjustment time, streamline the production process, and reduce equipment idle time; · Guide, train, and motivate production teams, as well as analyze line performance; · Supervise safety and hygiene conditions in the department; · Control department absenteeism; · Monitor, track, and create action plans for OEE management, controlling productive and non-productive hours of the indicator. · Evaluate measurement reports, indicators, etc. · Respond to NCs (non-conformities) using the 8D method; · Conduct team meetings focusing on production indicators, safety, goals, and objectives.
