Bourbon Hospitalidade, one of the leading companies in the hospitality industry, is seeking a Laundry Assistant for Bourbon Resort Atibaia, located in Atibaia \- SP. This professional will be responsible for performing all stages of washing and finishing of linens, guest clothing, and uniforms sent to the Laundry Department, carrying out work within established quality standards, complying with internal and external regulations and procedures, as well as adhering to Bourbon Hospitalidade’s general and human resources policies. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Operate professional washer/dryer machines. * Maintain cleanliness of all machines using appropriate and department-approved cleaning products to prevent damage to linens, clothing, and uniforms and ensure proper machine longevity. * Sort, wash, dry, iron, and deliver guest clothing to hotel rooms. * Sort soiled linens collected from guest rooms. * Collect uniforms from the linen room, gather them, and transport them to the Laundry Department for washing and drying. * Perform finishing tasks, including folding bath towels, face towels, floor towels, and pool towels. * Operate the calender machine for ironing sheets, pillowcases, and A\&B linens. * Receive and deliver uniforms to staff members. * Carry out washing and finishing processes according to fabric specifications, machine capabilities, degree of soiling, and detergent usage. * Restock linens in housekeeping carts. * Wash carpets and curtains. * Weigh and sort linens and uniforms for washing, respecting fabric type, color, and level of soiling per garment, following Laundry Department standards to avoid damage and operational issues. * Keep the Laundry Department consistently clean and organized, arranging items to maintain an orderly workplace. * Be accountable for the quality, storage, and handling of all garments produced in the department. * Label each guest garment prior to washing to identify its origin. * Respect fabric characteristics and processing requirements of items delivered by guests or instructions provided by them, ensuring tasks are performed safely and in accordance with quality standards. * Perform other duties related to the position.
