**Job Purpose** Oxitec Brazil is at the forefront of developing innovative biological pest control technologies to save lives and improve livelihoods. Recognized across Brazil for our innovative technology *Aedes do Bem™*, we are seeking highly motivated Field Technicians passionate about biological insect control to join our team in Brazil, based in Campinas\-SP. The next members of our Field Operations team in Brazil must possess strong teamwork skills, resilience, flexibility, a cooperative spirit, and attention to detail. **Responsibilities** * Handling insects, eggs, larvae, and adults in the laboratory and/or monitoring traps and service devices in the field; * Accurately recording data in laboratory notebooks and digital applications; * Occasional support for experiments on weekends as part of a team rotation; * Supporting other laboratory or field activities, such as public engagement, quality control, organization, and general workplace maintenance. **Skills, Experience and Education Requirements** * Technical course or undergraduate degree in progress in Biology or related fields; * Flexible working hours – including weekends and holidays. **Behavioral Requirements** * Commitment to and passion for Oxitec’s mission and values; * Ability to respond to the needs of an international business operating across different time zones, adapting work patterns according to demands; * Being positive, humble, cooperative, and professional in all situations; * Working with a sense of urgency, resolving tasks promptly; * Being diligent and organized; * Having strong communication skills and active listening ability; * Being resilient and persistent in an innovative and constantly changing environment; * Being able to interact with the public and work in open environments, facing sun, rain, and adversity.
