We are looking for a **Logistics Mechanical Maintenance Assistant** to serve as a *Control Room Operator* at the Finished Goods Distribution Center. The professional will be responsible for monitoring the operation of systems and equipment at the DC, performing minor adjustments and simple maintenance tasks, recording incidents, and maintaining constant communication with supervision. If you are proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this position represents an excellent opportunity to grow and contribute to the quality and efficiency of our operations. **Responsibilities and Duties** * **Continuously monitor the DC machinery system**, ensuring proper operation of equipment, sensors, control panels, and associated devices. * **Perform minor maintenance and low-to-medium complexity adjustments**, such as replacing simple components, re-tightening connections, calibrations, and correcting operational failures. * **Monitor equipment indicators, alarms, and status**, record incidents, and immediately report any anomalies to supervision. * **Execute rapid interventions** to restore system functionality, always within safety limits and according to technical guidance. * **Complete reports, checklists, and daily records** for machinery monitoring, ensuring traceability and clear communication with leadership and technical teams. * **Assist with general mechanical, electrical, or electronic maintenance activities**, as needed, within the scope permitted for this role. * **Perform tasks requiring work at heights**, fully complying with all applicable safety requirements and regulations. * **Support and collaborate with maintenance and operations teams**, contributing to continuous process improvement and fostering a safe, organized environment. * **Suggest improvements, document recurring failures, and propose preventive actions**, enhancing system stability and efficiency at the DC. * **Maintain operational discipline**, ensuring compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and safety protocols. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Tools and Operational Competencies:** * Basic use of **hand tools** (screwdrivers, Allen keys, pliers, hammers). * Ability to complete **maintenance reports, spreadsheets, and checklists** clearly and accurately. * Ability to access and operate in areas requiring **work at heights**, following 100% of safety protocols. **Behavioral Skills:** * Organization and attention to detail. * Effective communication with leadership and operational teams. * Proactivity in identifying failures and suggesting improvements. * Commitment to safety, process discipline, and collaborative attitude. **Courses and Certifications (Preferred):** * NR‑35 – **Work at Heights**; * Basic course in **mechanical or electromechanical maintenance**; * Training in **tool handling**, mechanical adjustments, or automation (a plus). **Availability:** * Flexibility to work according to the DC’s operational schedule. **Additional Information** **Transportation allowance** or contracted transportation (per local policy). **Meal allowance and/or food voucher**. **Health insurance** and **dental insurance**. **Life insurance**. **Profit-sharing program (PPR/PLR)**, aligned with company goals. **Internal training programs** and opportunities for technical development. **Safe environment**, with a strong culture of prevention, organization, and support for professional growth. **Adequate infrastructure** for task execution, including personal protective equipment, tools, and specialized technical support when required.
