




Job Summary: The professional will engage in the development and support of systems focused on SSA, SDA, and STM, contributing to solutions for monitoring, analysis, and management of the space environment. Maintenance and enhancement of spatial analysis and orbital data systems. **Key Responsibilities**: **Develop and support** systems targeting Space Situational Awareness (SSA), Space Domain Awareness (SDA), and Space Traffic Management (STM), contributing to solutions related to monitoring, analysis, and management of the space environment. **Develop** functionalities and enhancements for spatial analysis systems based on predefined requirements, supporting the creation of tools for tracking orbital objects, events, and risks associated with space traffic. **Code**, **document**, **test**, and **maintain** applications used in processes of collecting, processing, and visualizing orbital and tracking data. **Support** implementation of routines for space data processing, trajectory analysis, orbital prediction, and generation of technical reports related to space situational awareness. **Perform** corrective and evolutionary maintenance of systems, including code review and refactoring, bug fixes, and performance improvements. **Prepare** technical documentation, manuals, and operational procedures related to developed applications, ensuring traceability and standardization. **Secondary Activities (Technical Support)** * Support mission analyses and orbital studies related to satellites and nanosatellites. * Contribute to validation and integration activities of space subsystems. * Assist in technical support for aerospace operations and simulations. * Participate in academic and collaborative projects linked to the space sector. **Work Methodology** Work will be conducted with continuous supervision and organization grounded in best practices of engineering and project management. The professional will collaborate with development teams, systems engineering teams, and space operations teams, participating in periodic meetings for alignment, planning, and tracking of deliverables. **REQUIREMENTS** **Education** * Currently pursuing or completed Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Science and Technology, or related fields. **Technical Knowledge** * Fundamentals of orbital mechanics * Familiarity with Space Situational Awareness (SSA) and/or Space Domain Awareness (SDA) * Interest in or familiarity with Space Traffic Management (STM) * Basic understanding of technical system development and maintenance * Foundational knowledge of data analysis and processing * Ability to produce structured technical documentation * Advanced/Fluent English **Technologies and Tools – Preferred** * Python for orbital data analysis and processing * Scientific libraries (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib) * Orbital analysis tools such as STK, GMAT, or Orekit * Knowledge of APIs and external data integration (e.g., TLE, tracking data) * Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) * Dashboard or visualization tool development * Concepts of system architecture and version control (Git) * Basic knowledge of Linux environments * Prior experience with CubeSat or nanosatellite projects **Behavioral Competencies** * Analytical mindset and attention to detail * Technical organization and discipline * Aptitude for working in multidisciplinary teams * Strong technical communication and writing skills * Proactivity and commitment to continuous development in the space domain
