Assist in plating dishes and finalizing food items. Maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness, including utensils used. Assist in dishwashing and cleaning the food preparation area. Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies. Follow the company's established food hygiene and safety standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team and follow instructions from the chef or responsible cook. Perform other kitchen-related tasks as required. It is essential that the Kitchen Assistant be agile, organized, possess basic culinary skills, and be willing to learn and collaborate with the team. Additionally, strict adherence to food hygiene and safety standards is critical to ensuring food quality. Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Cook's Assistant, Restaurant Assistant, or Food Preparer may indicate suitability for some of the duties associated with this position. Completed elementary education required.
