CASHIER SUPERVISOR - ATIBAIA

Supervise front-end cashier activities, providing support in tasks performed at cashier terminals (POS) and ensuring compliance with department regulations, thereby enhancing safety in the functions carried out within the department. **Responsibilities and duties** * Supervise operations conducted at POS cashier terminals; * Verify proper functioning of equipment and systems; * Check whether debit/credit card transactions are being correctly processed and settled; * Monitor cash withdrawals ("sangrias"), jointly verify with Cashier Operators that amounts have been correctly counted and separated, and transport cash bags to the Treasury department; * Monitor purchase cancellations upon customer request, receive requests from Cashier Operators, enter cancellation password at the register, check and collect cancellation receipts for filing; * Monitor preparation of change funds, verify correctness of amounts and bill distribution, and supervise distribution of change bags to Cashier Operators; * Authorize Cashier Operators' breaks and returns; * Inspect organization of shopping carts inside and outside the store, requesting rearrangement when necessary; * Conduct surprise "cash audits", select which register to inspect, close the register, and verify that cash and card amounts match the register report; * Provide support to Operators during register closing; * Issue credit notes for price discrepancies; * Perform daily register/store closing on "D0", consisting of verifying Cash Summaries against totals in cash, checks, card slips, and Customer Refund Notes; * Prepare cash deposits to bank, complete GTV form, dispatch armored vehicle, and identify potential errors in amount descriptions on forms or incorrect deposits; * Perform cash withdrawals: collect total register amount except change, send to safe, document amounts, and later verify before depositing into the safe; * Maintain Excel tracking records; * People management **Requirements and qualifications** * High school diploma required; * Experience in face-to-face customer service will be considered a plus; * Experience in the food industry—wholesale, hypermarkets, supermarkets, butcher shops, etc.—will be considered a plus. **Additional information** **Workplace:** 100% in-person **Benefits:** * On-site cafeteria * Multi-benefits card * Transportation allowance * Medical insurance * Dental insurance * Life insurance * Discounts at educational institutions for undergraduate, postgraduate, and extension courses * Roldão Mais: Employees receive discounts at Roldão Atacadista stores, paying wholesale prices * Maternity kit * Corporate University—Academia Roldão: Participation in training programs with personalized learning paths for each employee.
