Our focus is on improving time to diagnosis, identifying early pre\-visit diagnostic testing, and the connection between risk assessment and symptom assessment all for the purpose of preventing premature deaths and saving lives. **Who We Are Looking For** As an Engineering Director, you will define and implement the company’s technology vision and lead SOAP Health’s engineering initiatives. You will work closely with executive stakeholders, engineers, and partners to ensure SOAP’s tech infrastructure is scalable, secure, and aligned with its mission to transform digital health. You must have deep hands\-on experience with fullstack software development, cloud infrastructure, data integration and management, AI services, and best engineering practices. You will be responsible for mentoring and guiding a growing team across diverse projects. **Responsibilities** * Define and own the company’s technical strategy and roadmap * Lead cross\-functional engineering teams across backend, frontend, cloud, and data * Architect scalable systems and high\-performance web applications using technologies like Javascript, Typescript, React and NodeJS * Oversee integrations between the digital human interface and backend services * Promote clean, testable code and enforce best practices across all stacks * Review code and architecture decisions to ensure long\-term maintainability * Champion quality through automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps culture * Partner with Product and Business teams to align technology efforts with strategic goals * Collaborate with QA and PMs to ensure high\-quality delivery of critical systems * Maintain security, compliance, and system reliability across SOAP’s platforms * Represent SOAP Health in technical discussions with clients, investors, and partners * Stay up\-to\-date with emerging technologies and drive innovation inside the company * Mentor and grow the engineering team in alignment with company values **Qualifications** * Degree in Computer Science or related field * Proven experience in leadership roles managing diverse technical teams * Fluent in English, with excellent written and spoken communication * Deep understanding of the Javascript language (including Typescript), architectural and design patterns, React (HTML and CSS), NodeJS (frameworks like Remix), build tools (like Vite), web standards, DevOps workflows, and cloud providers (like GCP). * Experience with Google Cloud Platform and other cloud providers * Familiarity with DevOps workflows, CI/CD, Git, GitHub * Strong understanding of design principles: SOLID, DRY, Clean Code, Clean Architecture * Experience in healthcare or enterprise SaaS is a plus * Ability to work independently and lead large\-scale initiatives across distributed teams Tipo de vaga: Autônomo / PJ Idioma: * Inglês (Obrigatório) Local do trabalho: Remoto
