IDEALIZE ENGINEERING Hires Civil Works Manager **Job Summary:** Plan, coordinate, supervise, and monitor construction execution to ensure compliance with deadlines, budget, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable technical and legal regulations. **Key Activities and Responsibilities:** * Plan and control the physical and financial schedule of high-standard construction projects. * Coordinate work teams (in-house and outsourced), ensuring productivity and performance. * Control and validate procurement, delivery, and use of materials, equipment, and supplies. * Ensure compliance with technical, environmental, labor, and occupational safety regulations. * Prepare and analyze managerial construction progress reports (daily, weekly, and monthly). * Conduct periodic meetings with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders. * Monitor measurement processes and inspections conducted by public agencies and contractors. * Manage contracts with suppliers and service providers related to the project. * Identify risks and propose solutions to maintain project quality, schedule, and budget. * Support the estimating and planning team in developing new technical proposals. **Requirements: Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Production Engineering (Civil specialization), or related fields. **Experience:** * Proven experience managing civil construction projects (residential buildings, renovations). * Experience managing teams, budgetary control, and schedule adherence. **Technical Knowledge:** * Ability to read and interpret architectural and complementary project drawings. * Construction planning and control (MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools). * Familiarity with ABNT standards, occupational safety regulations, and applicable legislation. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate/advanced Excel). **Behavioral Competencies:** * Leadership and team management * Organization and planning * Assertive communication * Decision-making * Proactivity and sense of urgency * Negotiation and conflict resolution skills **Working Conditions:** * Willingness to travel and/or relocate as required by business needs. * Fieldwork (construction sites), including possible technical visits to suppliers and clients.
