Job Summary: Forklift Operator responsible for moving and organizing finished and in-process products, ensuring safety and compliance with the 5S methodology. Key Highlights: 1. Participate in inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:** Someone to join our Dispatch team in Maranguape – CE, whose main challenge will be operating industrial vehicles such as forklifts and similar equipment, activating their control devices to move finished products, in-process goods, or perform loading operations. Organize inventories while maintaining the 5S methodology, storing them in designated locations in an orderly and safe manner. Participate in and/or assist with inventory counts of finished or in-process products to meet load planning requirements, ensure safe handling, proper cargo conditioning, and guarantee product and personnel integrity. Responsible for organizing the workplace, strictly adhering to the company’s safety guidelines. **Responsibilities and Duties** **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** * Operate forklifts to transport and move loads, ensuring stability, safety, and equipment preservation. * Load and unload trucks, directing goods to pre-determined locations. * Move finished products between production, inventory, and dispatch areas, ensuring correct storage. * Assign and register batches in the system using handheld scanners, following established storage standards. * Store products in an organized manner, with visible labels, respecting spacing requirements and aisle location. * Assist in the physical organization of inventories, ensuring proper pallet placement and avoiding irregularities. * Sort loads and support dispatch activities, collaborating with verifiers and operational teams. * Apply 5S practices, maintaining a clean, organized workspace free of obsolete materials or waste. * Participate in inventory counts of intermediate and finished products, contributing to inventory accuracy. * Organize and perform cleaning of your work area to maintain safe and appropriate working conditions in accordance with Smurfit Westrock’s standards and procedures. **Requirements and Qualifications** **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:** * Completed High School education; * Forklift Operator Training Course – NR 11 (with completion date from April 2025 onwards); * Experience in this role or similar positions within medium- or large-scale industries; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; * Availability to work in Maranguape on rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift). **Additional Information** The **Smurfit Westrock**, a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging, operates in 40 countries with over 500 packaging conversion operations and 59 paper mills.
