Job Summary: This engineering internship supports project planning, monitoring, and organization, assisting in the execution of activities and action plans while ensuring adherence to schedules and delivery quality. Key Highlights: 1. Support the development and management of project schedules and scopes. 2. Assist in cross-departmental interface and contribute suggestions for optimization. 3. Organize documents, prepare status reports and KPIs. **WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:** Someone to join our Engineering team at the Maranguape/CE unit, responsible for supporting project planning, monitoring, and organizational activities. The intern will work alongside the project and maintenance teams, assisting in the progress and execution of activities and action plans; support the implementation of improvements; ensure schedule compliance, delivery quality, interdepartmental communication, scheduling update meetings, document organization, and preparation of status reports and KPIs. **Responsibilities and Duties** **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** Description of main activities. * Support the development and management of project schedules, actions, plans, scopes, and milestones; * Assist in drafting tender documents for service procurement; * Support performance indicator (KPI) monitoring and reporting; generate reports; complete spreadsheets for dashboard and report generation; * Organize and conduct alignment and status meetings; draft minutes and follow-ups; * Assist in interfacing between involved departments (production, procurement, logistics, etc.); * Prepare purchase requisitions in SAP; * Contribute suggestions for process and planning optimization; * Organize and maintain project documents and records using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, or MS Project; * Assist in standardizing departmental documents, workflows, and processes; * Monitor production processes / construction / maintenance activities (as applicable); * Contribute to continuous improvement and process standardization; * Develop and present an internship project at the end of the term, proposing improvements. **Requirements and Qualifications** **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:** * Currently enrolled in an Engineering program (from the 6th semester onward); * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, advanced Excel skills; * Preferred: knowledge of AutoCAD, Lean Six Sigma, Power BI; * Preferred: familiarity with management tools (Microsoft Project, Trello, Planner); * Availability for in-person internship in Maranguape/CE. **Additional Information** The **Smurfit Westrock**, a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging, operates in 40 countries with over 500 packaging conversion operations and 62 paper mills.
