




#### **About the position:** * The Vehicle Appraiser is responsible for inspecting, pricing, and validating the condition of used or pre-owned vehicles that will be acquired by the dealership as part of negotiations or for resale. They ensure that appraisals are fair and competitive, considering technical, structural, and market-related aspects, thereby contributing to the company’s profitability and credibility. #### **Main responsibilities:** * Conduct a detailed analysis of vehicles’ mechanical, electrical, structural, and aesthetic conditions; * Identify signs of damage, collision history, alterations, and component wear; * Assess mileage, documentation, and vehicle history to determine origin and depreciation; * Determine the market value of the vehicle based on valuation tables (FIPE and others), condition, demand, and the dealership’s internal pricing; * Ensure the vehicle purchase is financially viable for the dealership, considering resale margin and reconditioning costs; * Support used-vehicle inventory control and suggest strategies to maintain a competitive portfolio; * Coordinate reconditioning processes with the after-sales team and partner workshops; * Monitor automotive market trends to adjust appraisal criteria; * Clearly explain the appraisal process and clarify doubts regarding pricing; * Check the vehicle’s legal status online (e.g., Detran and other sources) to investigate possible impediments to its inclusion; * Verify, via the vehicle’s manual (when available), whether the vehicle is still under warranty and whether all required maintenance has been performed at an authorized dealership; * Accurately complete the Used Vehicle Appraisal Form or appraisal software; * Maintain transparent relationships to enhance credibility and strengthen the dealership’s image. #### **Mandatory requirements:** * Completed high school education (technical or higher education in related fields—e.g., Automotive Engineering or Business Administration—is desirable); * Experience in vehicle appraisal, buying and selling pre-owned vehicles, or technical roles within the automotive sector; * Technical knowledge in mechanics, bodywork, and the vehicle market; * Strong negotiation and argumentation skills; * Ability to evaluate documents and vehicle history; * Attention to detail and analytical mindset; * Valid Category B driver’s license (active and within validity period). #### **Benefits:** * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Meal allowance; * Transportation allowance; * Life insurance; * TotalPass.
