This role ensures adherence to global standards and local regulatory requirements by applying pragmatic solutions that enable commercial success and operational efficiency. The position provides strategic leadership, regulatory engagement, and talent development to support sustainable growth and ethical business practices. **Key Responsibilities** * Establish and execute the long\-term strategic direction for the compliance function in partnership with the Global Head of Compliance and Senior Leadership. * Provide proactive and pragmatic compliance advice to senior management to support business objectives while maintaining regulatory integrity. * Identify, assess, and report on compliance risks within the Brazil region, ensuring timely communication to global and regional stakeholders. * Oversee compliance risk management related to vendors and other third\-party relationships. * Be responsible for regulatory agency relationships and for maintaining these relationships continuously. * Ensure compliance frameworks are practical, scalable, and aligned with the commercial realities of operations in Brazil. * Develop and deliver compliance training for employees and leadership teams, aligned with global standards and adapted to local needs. * Implement a monitoring and control testing program to prevent and detect unethical or improper conduct. * Drive talent development, succession planning, and performance management within the compliance team. * Collaborate with global compliance, risk, and cybersecurity teams to align regional practices with corporate standards and embed compliance into business decisions. * Lead the Compliance function’s participation in mergers and acquisitions activities. **Qualifications** ------------------ * An experienced and mature leader capable of building trusted relationships at the highest organizational levels and providing inspirational leadership to the Brazil compliance team. * Proven experience working within international or global organizations. * Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, methodologies, and emerging best practices. * Technical knowledge of the Brazilian regulatory environment and global compliance standards. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, from board level to operational teams. * Ability to apply compliance principles pragmatically in complex business environments. * Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance regulatory obligations with strategic business goals. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or related fields.
