




**Description** The Occupational Safety Technician will be responsible for developing and implementing occupational health and safety policies; conducting a diagnosis of the company’s OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) status; identifying control variables related to diseases, accidents, quality of life, and the environment; developing educational initiatives in the field of occupational health and safety; investigating and analyzing workplace accidents and recommending preventive and control measures. **Responsibilities and Duties** 1. Prepare work orders by function; 2. Inspect work environments to identify hazards and improvement opportunities; 3. Establish, maintain operational status of, and assign tasks to the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA); 4. Conduct periodic inspections of personal protective equipment (PPE) and manage such equipment: a. Inventory new and washable PPE; b. Control distribution, maintenance, and final disposal; 5. Monitor expiration dates of ASOs (Occupational Health Certificates) across all units according to the PCMSO (Occupational Health Monitoring Program) and schedule medical examinations; 6. Update and implement action schedules for all PPRA (Occupational Risk Assessment Programs); 7. Advise the immediate supervisor on legal requirements stipulated in the Regulatory Standards (NRs); 8. Deliver onboarding and area-specific safety training (e.g., NR-11 Forklift Operator, NR-33 Confined Space, NR-35 Working at Heights, and awareness training aligned with PPRA); 9. Schedule training sessions with professionals from health and fire prevention areas; 10. Analyze parameters to determine staffing, activities, and actions for the Fire Brigade team; 11. Annually review, together with the Fire Brigade team, the emergency action plans for headquarters and units; 12. Monitor rodent control at headquarters and units using a monitoring spreadsheet; 13. Coordinate the Internal Occupational Health Week (SIPAT) jointly with CIPA; 14. Ensure organization and cleanliness of work environments; 15. Promote selective collection of recyclable and organic waste at headquarters; 16. Prepare PPP (Previdenciário Professional Profile) for employees upon termination; 17. Periodically conduct risk assessments of work environments: a. Develop action plans proposing control measures for identified conditions; b. Monitor implementation of these plans; 18. Participate in incident investigations using root cause analysis, jointly with CIPA; 19. Measure and monitor workplace incidents: a. Issue preliminary incident notifications to management and HR; b. Monitor the action plan derived from incident investigations; c. Issue CAT (Work Accident Notification); 20. Implement safety signage to warn of sector-specific hazards; 21. Develop and keep updated the risk map for headquarters and units, jointly with CIPA; 22. Prepare management reports as requested by the immediate supervisor; 23. Develop SESMT (Specialized Services in Engineering Safety and Occupational Medicine) performance indicators; 24. Develop policies, procedures, and forms for the occupational safety department, and deliver appropriate training and follow-up; 25.
