




Provide nursing care to pregnant women and patients with gynecological conditions; coordinate individualized care; respect each patient’s risks and privacy; guide technicians and assistants in performing their duties; supply necessary materials and equipment to ensure safety and quality of care. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform daily Perioperative Nursing Care Systematization, including its phases: pre-, intra-, and post-operative. * Conduct the surgical checklist daily and ensure compliance with all steps for patient safety during the patient’s stay in the Operating Room. * Provide nursing care to pregnant women, laboring women, and postpartum women. * Receive and hand over shift reports daily in writing (online system) for laboring and postpartum women with the entire team. * Daily staffing schedule planning according to departmental needs, including delivery rooms, pre-delivery, and post-delivery areas. * Monitor labor progression. * Coordinate and supervise daily team activities related to mother–infant safety. * Ensure daily compliance with nursing team documentation to guarantee continuity of care. * Assess patients for risks and prescribe preventive measures corresponding to identified risks. * Identify the mother–infant dyad in the operating room per protocol, using numbered wristbands. * Assist in neonatal resuscitation. * Provide obstetric care in emergency situations. * Participate, alongside the multidisciplinary team, in Maternal and Child Health Program activities under COFEN Resolution No. 223/99. * Identify obstetric dystocias and initiate appropriate interventions until physician arrival. * Complete the Live Birth Certificate (LBC), issue nursing reports for hospital admission authorization per SAS/MS Ordinance No. 163/98, and accompany the patient until discharge. * Supervise and evaluate nursing team members’ performance, nursing documentation, and verification via signature/first name on prescriptions. * Provide direct nursing care to severely or critically ill patients whenever required. * Perform other duties relevant to the position. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Nursing. * Completed postgraduate specialization in Obstetrics. * Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office suite. * Active COREN registration in the specialty area. * Minimum six months of experience in this role. **SPDM** – São Paulo Association for Medical Development – is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association, recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility in its headquarters city, respectively by Decrees No. 57,925 dated 03/04/1966, No. 40,103 dated 05/17/1962, and No. 8,911 dated 07/30/1970.
