Work on auxiliary systems and fault diagnostics We are seeking a **Mechanical Maintenance Technician** to perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on **railway locomotives**, ensuring fleet reliability, operational safety, and availability in compliance with technical and railway safety standards. **Responsibilities** * Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on diesel-electric locomotives * Conduct technical inspections of locomotive mechanical systems * Maintain traction, transmission, railway braking, and suspension systems * Carry out disassembly, assembly, and adjustment of mechanical components (bogies, wheelsets, gearboxes, couplings, couplers) * Maintain auxiliary systems: compressed air, lubrication, cooling, and exhaust * Support fault diagnostics and post-maintenance functional testing * Record activities in work orders and technical reports * Strictly comply with railway safety, environmental, and quality standards * Support multidisciplinary teams in integrated maintenance activities Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent CLT Salary: R$1.989,28 – R$2.606,00 per month Benefits: * Transportation allowance Work Location: On-site
