




Description: Qualifications: Completed undergraduate degree in Mathematics Education Desirable: Postgraduate degree * Develop annual, semester, and quarterly lesson plans for the subject area, aligned with reference frameworks (BNCC, ENEM, and PAS/UnB) and structured around effective pedagogical practices to foster the competencies stipulated for students’ holistic development. * Systematically record, monitor, and report to the Pedagogical Coordination any inappropriate student behavior or concerning situations observed during classes, as well as matters related to grade recording, curriculum content covered per class, attendance, academic performance, punctuality, and regularity of students—thereby contributing to improved teaching quality and individual student learning. * Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons that integrate required content with the Unit’s pedagogical project, and evaluate outcomes of these planned activities to measure the percentage of students achieving favorable academic results. * Participate in continuous professional development sessions, collective coordination meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and class councils; also engage in dialogue with parents/guardians regarding each student’s academic progress. * Fulfill requests from the School Administration, Educational Guidance, and Pedagogical Coordination related to teaching duties, consistently upholding the educational network’s mission. * Support and guide students experiencing learning difficulties, and refer them appropriately to Educational Guidance to mediate, facilitate, and articulate knowledge, thereby providing students with mechanisms for academic advancement. * Prepare physical and digital instructional materials, as well as assessments that recognize students’ potential, and design evaluation instruments compliant with the Unit’s regulations and deadlines. * Deliver both in-person and remote classes (online classes, live streaming), utilizing digital platforms, and upload didactic materials/assessments via designated platforms, ensuring accessibility for all learners in alignment with the subject’s pedagogical activity planning and adherence to the proposed academic calendar for this educational level. * Design and administer tests, examinations, and other standard assessment tools that address the competencies outlined in the pedagogical plan, thereby supporting student development and learning, and verifying the effectiveness and appropriateness of adopted teaching methods. * Collaborate with the pedagogical team to establish recovery strategies and propose content review activities aimed at reinforcing previously taught material, maximizing knowledge acquisition, and overcoming challenges identified in assessments. * Systematically assess overall class performance and individual student performance, documenting observations in reports to jointly formulate recovery strategies with the Pedagogical Coordination and/or Educational Guidance. * Attend parent-teacher meetings individually, discussing the student’s pedagogical development and returning corrected assignments to enable parents/guardians to monitor learning progress. * Systematically record in the class journal student attendance, conduct, academic performance, and content delivered during each lesson for monitoring and evaluation by the Pedagogical Coordination. * Create and implement diverse classroom pedagogical resources—including exams, essays, mock tests, and varied activities—that address competencies outlined in the pedagogical plan, promoting student development and learning. * Maintain classroom order and discipline, and establish and manage in-class mechanisms encouraging students to think critically and research topics related to the content taught, thus enhancing implementation of the pedagogical plan and supporting students with special educational needs. * Collect and interpret data from internal and external assessments using the Unit’s information system, spreadsheets provided by the coordinator, and government agencies, to support planning and, if necessary, re-planning. * Define, at the school level, curriculum objectives appropriate to each grade level based on preliminary analysis of class profiles and applicable legislation, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. * Define and apply assessment methods consistent with the theoretical frameworks adopted by the Unit and external assessment matrices (e.g., ENEM), preparing students for various selection processes. * Actively participate in knowledge fairs held within the Unit, guiding students in developing and presenting projects to ensure event effectiveness and support the teaching-learning process. * Instruct students on the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), when required, to ensure their safety during implementation of planned activities. * Teach, construct knowledge, stimulate critical thinking, provoke reflection, and act as a mediator and motivator in the Unit’s teaching-learning process. * Promote methodological versatility and continuously update subject-specific knowledge through diverse teaching resources and instructional strategies, including lesson planning and delivery incorporating educational technologies aligned with the Unit’s educational guidelines—thus rendering learning meaningful for students. * Perform other duties of similar nature and complexity associated with the organizational environment. 2512210202551833731
