Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Performing technical interventions on life-support equipment (e.g., ventilators, anesthesia machines, defibrillators, multiparametric monitors, infusion pumps), strictly following manufacturers’ manuals. Electrical Safety Testing: Conducting periodic measurements of leakage current and grounding resistance per NBR IEC 60601 standard, to protect patients and operators. Calibration and Performance Testing: Using analyzers and simulators (e.g., ventilation analyzers, ECG simulators) to verify whether equipment output parameters fall within clinically acceptable tolerance margins. Work Order Management: Rigorously logging all activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), ensuring full traceability of maintenance history and adherence to the preventive maintenance plan.
