We have a team with deep technical expertise. **Back End Integration Engineer** --------------------------------- ### **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU** * Advanced knowledge of various API standards (pagination, filtering, response formats, authentication); * Basic understanding of database connectivity (users, permissions); * Creativity in problem-solving (e.g., database only accessible from a fixed IP? I’ll set up a bridge; API returns malformed responses? I’ll write a small Lambda function/script to transform data before inserting it into the database); * Basic/intermediate data analysis skills (SQL) will be highly valuable for debugging integration issues; * Authentication standards (e.g., OAuth 2.0, tokens, etc.); * Ability to explain technical problems clearly and simply (the SplitC team is highly technical, but you’ll sometimes need to explain things to non-technical clients); * Nice to have: familiarity with integration tools (Fivetran, Airflow, Kafka, Airbyte) is welcome; * Nice to have: knowledge of spreadsheets, CSV files, VLOOKUP (PROCV), etc.; * Nice to have: Redshift, BigQuery, or other data warehouse engines; * Nice to have: AWS Lambda; * Nice to have: AWS S3; * Nice to have: (Node.js) TypeScript; * Nice to have: monorepos; * Nice to have: infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/OpenTofu); * Nice to have: Go (Golang); ### **YOUR ROLE ON THE TEAM** Analyze *many* types of data; Build integrations to pull data from multiple sources and make it available in a well-structured, centralized manner within our Data Warehouse; Understand client data and structure it effectively (tap into your inner McKinsey-, BCG-, Bain-, or KPMG-style consultant… Haha); Integrate with databases (JDBC, drivers, etc.); ‍ (Sometimes integrate with older client APIs—including SOAP—because life isn’t always roses, right?); ️ And that famous “alternative solution” (creative workaround) to handle data from non-standard APIs; ### **WHAT WE VALUE:** ️ Good solutions > perfect solutions — rapid execution; ‍ Technical expertise and fast learning ability; Self-accountability; Collaborative mindset (teamwork, co-creation, continuous improvement); ### **WHAT WE OFFER:** PJ (individual contractor agreement); Health and dental insurance; Remote work; 30 days of paid leave after the first year; ️ Wellhub; Opportunity to join a company at an early stage, experiencing an exciting growth trajectory; ️ Transparency in company finances.
