





The International Trade professional is responsible for managing and executing import and export operations with technical and strategic excellence. Their work ensures regulatory compliance, optimization of logistics costs, and alignment with the company’s commercial objectives, directly contributing to competitiveness and expansion in the global market. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Coordinate and oversee end-to-end import and export processes (documentation, customs clearance, legislation, international and domestic transportation, warehousing, etc.). * Negotiate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics partners. * Ensure proper tax and customs classification of operations, complying with regulations issued by the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service, Siscomex, MAPA, ANVISA, and other regulatory agencies. * Prepare and analyze documents such as commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading (BL/AWB), Import Declaration (DI)/Export Declaration (DUE), among others. * Manage special customs regimes (e.g., Drawback, Recof, among others). * Control and monitor logistics costs and taxes applicable to international operations. * Identify process improvement opportunities and propose innovative solutions. * Collaborate with internal departments (procurement, sales, logistics, tax, legal) to enable and optimize international processes. * Stay updated on changes in international trade legislation and practices, proposing continuous process improvements. * Manage and monitor foreign exchange flows, international payments, and contracts in partnership with the finance department and banks. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in a field related to international trade. * Customs and Tax Legislation: In-depth knowledge of rules and procedures related to import, export, special customs regimes (e.g., Drawback, Recof, among others), and applicable taxes (II, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ICMS, AFRMM, etc.). * Tariff Classification of Goods (NCM/HS Code): Ability to accurately identify the nature of goods and apply correct tariff codes. * International Documentation: Thorough knowledge of documents such as commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading (BL, AWB), DI, DUE, among others. * International Trade Systems: Proficiency in platforms such as Siscomex, DUIMP, Single Portal for Foreign Trade, Siscoserv (where applicable), RADAR, among others. * Contracts and Incoterms: Solid understanding of Incoterms (latest version published by the ICC) and their application in international purchase and sale negotiations and contracts. * International Logistics: Knowledge of maritime, air, and road transportation, bonded warehousing, international insurance, and freight management. * Foreign Exchange and Financial Control: Strong knowledge of foreign exchange operations, international payments, contract settlements with banks, and financial compliance. * Regulatory Agencies’ Requirements: Familiarity with standards and requirements set by agencies such as MAPA, ANVISA, IBAMA, INMETRO, among others. * Cost Analysis: Ability to calculate total landed cost and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
