




Description: * Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering * Active CREA registration * Experience in mission-critical mechanical systems, especially in construction projects for Data Centers, Hospitals, Pharmaceutical or Process Industries, or Research Centers * Proficiency in applicable technical standards: NBRs (e.g., NBR 16401, NBR 5626, NBR 10897), ASHRAE, NFPA (especially for fire suppression and ventilation systems), and mechanical requirements of Uptime Institute Tier classifications * Practical knowledge of precision air conditioning systems (CRAC/CRAH), chillers, cooling towers, pumps, piping, ductwork, fire detection and suppression systems (sprinklers, clean agents such as FM200/NOVEC) * Experience overseeing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for mechanical equipment * Ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings and technical specifications * Experience in large-scale construction projects * Conduct inspections and supervise the execution of mechanical installations (HVAC, refrigeration, hydraulic, water- and gas-based fire suppression, exhaust, etc.) across all project phases. * Verify compliance of mechanical materials and equipment (chillers, fancoils, CRAC/CRAH, pumps, piping, ductwork, sprinklers, inert gas systems) with technical specifications, design documents, and applicable standards. * Monitor and validate the quality of assembly processes, welding, mechanical testing and commissioning, including leak tests, hydraulic and air system balancing, and equipment commissioning. * Ensure adherence to Brazilian technical standards (NBRs applicable to HVAC, hydraulics, fire protection) and international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, Uptime Institute Tiers) relevant to data center mechanical systems. * Identify, document, and assist in managing mechanical non-conformities, proposing and monitoring implementation of corrective and preventive actions. * Analyze and review mechanical as-built drawings, system diagrams, and technical documentation to ensure applicability and compliance with quality and safety standards. * Prepare inspection reports, checklists, and other quality control documents for mechanical services. * Serve as the technical quality interface with design, construction, and commissioning teams, as well as with suppliers and specialized mechanical subcontractors. * Promote a culture of safety and quality in all activities related to mechanical installations at the construction site. 2512210202551931332
