




Job Summary: The tax intern supports the tax and accounting department by organizing documents, performing basic entries, and providing operational support, ensuring compliance with tax policies. Operational support in verifying transportation documentation The tax intern is responsible for performing administrative and operational support tasks for the tax and accounting department, ensuring that required documents and information are organized and available for review. The role involves document control, basic system entries, and support to the accounting team, always aligned with the company's tax and fiscal policies. 1\. Document Organization and Control * Verify, organize, and file tax and accounting documents, such as invoices, contracts, and tax payment slips. * Send requested documents and information to third-party accounting services; * Monitor and control deadlines for submitting tax documents, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. 2\. Basic Entries and Registrations * Enter product and service invoices into the system, ensuring correct social and accounting classification. * Verify invoice data, including amounts, tax rates, CFOP codes, and item descriptions, and report inconsistencies when necessary. * Register information related to expenses, revenues, and contracted services, aligning with cost centers defined by the company. 3\. Operational Support * Verify documentation issued by carriers, such as CT\-e (Electronic Transport Receipt), delivery confirmations, and tax payment slips related to transportation. * Ensure transportation information is accurate and consistent with invoices issued by the company. * Identify inconsistencies in freight charges, taxes, or transportation data and notify the responsible party for adjustments. 4\. Simple Reports and Updates * Generate basic reports to assist in tax and accounting closing, such as summaries of entries or invoice registration records. * Update spreadsheets for tax control, deadlines, and payments.
