Now, the First Mile team is seeking a Shift Leader to work at the Seller Processing Center in Fortaleza - CE. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising one of our pickup processing stations, leading teams, managing KPIs, and driving results. Key job responsibilities This role involves: * Being physically present at the pickup station. Amazon operates 24/7, and therefore working various shifts—including weekends and holidays—will be part of this role. * Creating and cultivating a safe work environment by identifying safety opportunities in your area. * Leading and training associates to deliver the best service to our customers. * Ensuring customer orders are fulfilled in accordance with safety and quality guidelines. * Continuously providing critical shift-related information to operators. * Collaborating with support functions and/or other departments to address shared performance indicator issues or needs. * Monitoring operational progress and proactively identifying and correcting deviations, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations and managing operational costs. - Conducting meetings, assigning tasks, and meeting operational KPIs such as on-time vehicle dispatch, associate productivity, and first-day pickup success (On Time Dispatch, TPH, Estimated Arrival Date, First Day Pickup Success). * Insisting on the highest quality standards and diving deep to quickly identify root causes and drive improvements. * Finding practical and simple solutions to complex problems without compromising quality. * Providing daily support during system/process rollout or implementation. * Ensuring associates have appropriate tools to perform their jobs and coordinating repairs or replacements when necessary. * Communicating daily metrics and reporting exceptions to other Operations departments and across Amazon, as needed. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications * Experience with Excel * Bachelor's degree **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * Speak, write, and read fluently in English Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
