Join Nutrien! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform periodic inspections and preventive maintenance on screw conveyors, bucket elevators, augers, pre-cleaning equipment, standardizers, silos, treatment machines, and other plant equipment—activities that may involve working at heights or in confined spaces—to ensure they remain in optimal operating condition; * Carry out tasks such as disassembly, replacement of components (bearings, shafts, pulleys, chains, buckets, conveyor belts, gearboxes, etc.), and assembly of mechanical assemblies; perform lubrication, alignment, and tensioning of belts and chains; use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators); retighten or replace nuts and bolts; * Perform light boiler-making activities, electric welding, MIG welding, and oxy-acetylene torch cutting; operate equipment including grinders/sanders, handheld drills, bench drills, and bench grinders; * Provide technical support during operations to prevent unplanned shutdowns; respond swiftly to correct failures that could compromise production flow; assist in failure analysis and propose improvement solutions for equipment and maintenance processes; contribute to optimizing industrial asset availability; support material control and request spare parts when necessary; accurately complete work orders, maintenance reports, and inspection checklists; * Maintain organization and cleanliness in work areas after performing maintenance activities, ensuring the 5S program is effectively implemented within the maintenance area and all locations where the maintenance team operates—thereby maintaining a safe working environment; * Accurately complete SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) documentation—including scheduled inspections, safety dialogues, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) inspections, Incident Reports, Checklists, and JSA (Job Safety Analysis)—to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and prevent accidents; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Technical course in Mechanics or Electromechanics; * Proven experience in industrial maintenance; * Basic computer skills (desirable); * Availability to work rotating shifts during harvest season; * Driver’s license – AB (desirable); **Additional Information** * Working hours: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM * Address: GO 174 Km 03, SN, Rio Verde – GO **Benefits:** * Health Insurance Plan * Dental Insurance Plan * Life Insurance * On-site meals * Wellhub (Gympass) * EAP (Employee Assistance Program – financial, psychological, and legal support) * Fuel Allowance With a global presence and strong roots in agribusiness, we are part of the world’s largest potassium producer and stand out as an agricultural retail multinational with robust capital structure, innovation, and commitment to excellence.
