We hold projects at various stages of the mining lifecycle — from greenfield development through to full-scale operations — and employ over 2,100 professionals across Brazil, all committed to our purpose. Currently, we operate three iron ore sites in Minas Gerais: Baratinha and Mongais mines, part of the Baratinha Complex, and Pedra Branca mine. Our first iron ore operation, Baratinha mine in the Steel Valley, commenced activities in 2014 and features a wet beneficiation plant with an annual capacity of 2.5 million tons. In 2024, the Mongais project entered operation, with a dry processing capacity of 1.5 million tons per year, increasing the Baratinha Complex’s total annual capacity to 4.0 million tons. In the municipalities of João Monlevade and Itabira (MG), the Pedra Branca project began operations in the third quarter of 2025. The project holds reserves of 130 million tons, including 33 million tons of high-grade ore, and is expected to reach full capacity production of 2.0 million tons per year, exclusively via dry processing. Additionally, Bemisa operates a pilot-scale gold project in Água Azul do Norte, Pará state, near the Carajás polymetallic district. Developed since the greenfield stage, the project does not use tailings dams and employs predominantly local workers. We believe in the potential of Brazilian mining and are committed to integrating sustainability into our operations, generating socioeconomic development across all regions where we operate.
