Teamwork and communication **Job Description – Warehouse Assistant (Heavy Machinery)** The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for supporting activities related to the control, organization, and movement of materials, parts, and supplies used in the maintenance and operation of heavy machinery, ensuring correct storage and item availability. **Main Responsibilities:** * Receive, inspect, and store materials, parts, and tools; * Monitor incoming and outgoing items from the warehouse, maintaining up-to-date records; * Organize inventory according to safety and identification standards; * Support physical inventory counts and minimum stock level control; * Pick and deliver parts and components for heavy machinery maintenance; * Assist in controlling invoices and material documentation; * Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and preservation; * Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education; * Prior experience as a warehouse clerk or warehouse assistant; * Knowledge of parts and components of **heavy machinery** (excavators, tractors, wheel loaders, etc.); * Basic understanding of inventory and stock control; * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Training in logistics or warehousing; * Experience with inventory control systems; * Background working in heavy construction, mining, or agribusiness companies. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Proactivity; * Teamwork; * Effective communication; * Commitment to deadlines and safety regulations.
