Position: Junior Billing Analyst **Unit: OTO Aldeota Hospital** Department: Billing **Requirements** \- Completed high school education; technical or incomplete higher education preferred; \- Knowledge of health insurance routine procedures; \- Knowledge of authorization procedures for health insurance inpatient admissions; \- Knowledge of medical record organization; \- Knowledge of billing for health insurance and private inpatient accounts; \- MV Information System – Billing Module (desirable); \- Basic understanding of ICU and Operating Room billing. **Responsibilities** \- Daily verification of Hospital Census System to identify and request authorization for uncovered daily charges, new admissions, or changes in patient accommodation; \- Monitor and handle authorization processes for Clinical, Surgical, OPME, High-Cost Materials or Medications request forms; \- Monitor and handle authorizations for Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, and other complementary procedures or services requested by the Multidisciplinary Team; \- Ensure the flow of signed medical records between Nursing Management and Billing Management.
