The receptionist plays a crucial role in shaping the customer’s first impression of the establishment, ensuring a positive and organized experience. Main responsibilities include: 1. Customer Greeting: Greet customers warmly and courteously upon arrival at the restaurant, making them feel welcome. 2. Escorting to Tables: Guide customers to their tables according to availability and preference, ensuring the dining area is clean and prepared. 3. Menu and Restaurant Information: Provide general information about the restaurant and its menu, including operating hours, types of dishes, and any ongoing promotions. 4. Waitlist Management: Coordinate the waiting list during peak hours, keeping customers informed about the estimated wait time. 5. Support for Service/Cashier Team: Assist waitstaff, cashiers, and managers in organizing customer flow, handling payments, and relaying important information. 6. Telephone and Digital Communication: Answer phone calls, emails, or messages from reservation platforms to address customer requests and answer questions. 7. Resolving Minor Issues: Handle customer complaints or special requests and direct them to the appropriate person, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution. 8.
