So, do you fit this profile? **Responsibilities and duties** Reading and interpreting technical drawings and dimensional tolerances; Machine setup: adjustment, tool and fixture clamping; Operating conventional and CNC lathes to manufacture precision parts; Knowledge of metrology: use of calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges, and gauges; Selecting appropriate cutting tools for the material (carbon steel, stainless steel, special alloys); Adjusting machining parameters (cutting speed, feed rate, depth of cut); Quality control of produced parts, ensuring compliance with specifications; Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance for machines and tools. **Requirements and qualifications** Completed high school education; Technical or vocational training in industrial mechanics, machining, or related fields; Certification in reading and interpreting mechanical technical drawings; Proven experience operating conventional and CNC lathes; Experience machining metal parts for industrial sectors (metallurgy, automotive, petrochemical, pulp and paper, mining). **Additional information** At BYD, we prioritize our employees’ well-being and continuously seek improvements to our benefits package.
