**Technical Assistant – Screw Compressor Job Summary** Assist the responsible technician in the installation, operation, preventive and corrective maintenance of screw-type air compressors, ensuring proper equipment operation, operational safety, and compliance with the company’s technical and quality standards. **Main Responsibilities** * Assist in the **preventive and corrective maintenance** of screw compressors; * Support the **installation, disassembly, and assembly** of compressors and their components; * Perform **replacement of filters, lubricating oil, belts, hoses, and basic parts**; * Assist in the **identification of mechanical, electrical, and operational failures**; * Carry out **cleaning, organization, and preservation** of equipment and tools; * Support functional testing after maintenance or installation; * Follow **occupational safety regulations** and correct use of PPE; * Assist in completing **service orders, technical reports, and checklists**; * Support field and/or workshop technical service; * Safeguard company assets and ensure proper equipment usage. **Requirements** * Completed high school education (technical course in Mechanics, Electromechanics, or related fields preferred); * Basic knowledge of **mechanics, industrial electricity, or pneumatics**; * Prior experience with **air compressors**, preferably screw-type, is desirable; * Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical manuals; * Availability for travel and fieldwork (where applicable). **Competencies and Skills** * Organization and attention to detail; * Ability to work effectively in a team; * Proactivity and willingness to learn; * Commitment to safety and quality; * Good communication skills.
