This opportunity is ideal for professionals aiming to expand their practice beyond conventional engineering activities, directly contributing to the production of technical evidence, specialized analyses, and support for legal and administrative decision-making. **Main Responsibilities** * Conducting extrajudicial and judicial expert assessments in Civil Engineering, with emphasis on Diagnostic Engineering and Construction Pathologies. * Preparing expert reports, evaluations, technical opinions, reports, and substantiated technical statements. * Technical inspections, surveys, and evaluations of residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. * Diagnosing pathological manifestations, identifying root causes, deterioration mechanisms, and proposing technical solutions. * Analyzing performance, durability, construction compliance, and adherence to applicable technical standards. * Preparing and reviewing technical documents, including building inspection reports, technical opinions, survey reports, construction pathology evaluations, and related documentation. * Responding to technical queries, preparing assisting opinions, and providing expert assessment support. * Providing strategic technical support to companies, law firms, and public and private institutions. * Participating in investigative actions, inspections, technical meetings, and hearings, as required. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. * Completed postgraduate program in Diagnostic Engineering, Construction Pathologies, Legal Engineering, or a related field. * Active and valid registration with CREA (Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy). * Knowledge of ABNT technical standards applicable to inspections, expert assessments, performance, and building pathologies—especially ABNT NBR 13752, ABNT NBR 16747, ABNT NBR 15575, and other related standards. * Strong technical analytical ability, formal writing skills, and proficiency in preparing technical documents. * Knowledge of or interest in extrajudicial and judicial expert assessments. * Organizational skills, commitment, and ability to meet deadlines. * Ethical, impartial, and responsible conduct. * Willingness to travel and conduct technical investigations, as required. **Preferred Qualifications** * Prior experience in extrajudicial or judicial expert assessments. * Postgraduate qualification in Judicial Expert Assessment, Legal Engineering, or related fields. * Experience in building inspections, evaluation of construction pathologies, and diagnosis of pathological manifestations. * Practical experience in civil construction projects, building maintenance, structural rehabilitation, or technical evaluations of buildings. * Previous role as a technical assistant or court-appointed expert. * Experience in technical inspections, audits, and compliance assessments against regulatory standards. * Experience in preparing expert reports. **Work Model** Employment Type: Service Provision Modality: On-demand Work Arrangement: Flexible (in-person and/or remote, depending on case requirements) Scope: Local, regional, and national coverage, subject to demand and professional availability. **Why Join INPEJ** By joining INPEJ, professionals become part of an environment that values technical excellence, scientific rigor, multidisciplinary collaboration, and unwavering commitment to truth and justice.
