Strategic vision and the ability to transform data into actionable insights About the Position: We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to work with one of the largest companies in Brazil's healthcare and integrated management sector, a technology and digital transformation leader in hospital, outpatient, and diagnostic services. Responsibilities: Develop and implement statistical, predictive, and machine learning models applied across various business domains (clinical care, billing, risk, and operational performance). Collaborate closely with data engineers to ensure that datasets used are reliable, well-modeled, and easily consumable. Translate business problems into analytical hypotheses, defining success metrics and KPIs. Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and optimization opportunities. Create and maintain monitoring dashboards and data storytelling using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. Support internal teams in interpreting results and making data-driven decisions. Document models and pipelines to ensure reproducibility and analytical governance. Technical Requirements: Strong proficiency in Python (libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit\-learn, PySpark, etc.) and SQL. Experience with statistical modeling and supervised and unsupervised machine learning. Knowledge of regression, classification, clustering, time series, and NLP models. Experience with data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Plotly, Matplotlib). Hands-on experience in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and integration with data pipelines. Familiarity with MLOps, model automation, and predictive performance monitoring is desirable. Understanding of best practices in data governance, versioning, and analytical documentation.
