Leadership and influence skills. **What We Expect from You:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields; * Proven experience in Loss Prevention within Logistics Operations and Transportation; * In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM – Enterprise Risk Management); * Experience analyzing logistics and transportation operations and processes, developing loss prevention strategies, and implementing controls; * Leadership and influence skills **Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:** * Identify, assess, and mitigate risks threatening the company’s security and assets by analyzing operations and processes, developing loss prevention strategies, and implementing controls to reduce losses caused by theft, fraud, operational errors, or breakages—thereby protecting assets and ensuring business continuity. * Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols by researching best practices, analyzing legislation, and adapting standards to the company’s reality. Train employees on their application to minimize losses and foster a safe working environment. * Conduct internal investigations to determine the root causes of operational losses (theft, damage, breakage), fraud, or other security incidents—collecting evidence, analyzing data, and preparing reports to identify causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence. * Perform regular independent audits to evaluate the effectiveness of loss prevention measures—analyzing processes, testing controls, identifying new risk areas—and continuously monitor activities and transactions using monitoring and data analysis tools to strengthen internal controls, prevent losses, and ensure compliance. * Analyze litigation cases, assessing adopted approaches, operational support, and potential impacts on the company, proposing process solutions and improvements to minimize losses and legal risks. * Apply data analysis tools and techniques to identify patterns and trends indicating fraudulent activity or high-risk areas, interpreting results and preparing reports to support decision-making and enhance loss prevention measures. * Analyze operational loss reports to identify loss causes, assess financial impacts, and propose corrective actions to reduce losses and improve internal controls.
