Job Summary: Operate recyclables press, control waste, and maintain area organization, applying knowledge of safety and environmental practices. Key Highlights: 1. Monitoring and control of waste collection **Requirements:** * Completed high school; * Experience in recyclables press operation and waste control; * Experience in industrial or environmental operational activities; * Training as a press operator (NR 12\); * Basic knowledge of hazardous and recyclable waste management; * Understanding of waste segregation, containment, and identification; * Knowledge of completing operational records and controls; * Basic knowledge of occupational safety and environmental protection. **Responsibilities:** * Operate recyclables press to ensure proper containment of materials; * Complete hazardous waste control logs and the EVC (recyclable) operational control form; * Inspect hazardous and recyclable waste in internal and external areas as needed; * Clean and organize internal areas of waste shelters and adjacent external areas (gutters, sumps, drums, etc.); * Control receipt and weighing of hazardous and recyclable waste through identification and labeling; * Evaluate received waste, directing it correctly to the shelter or returning it to the generating department for correction when deviations are identified; * Conduct periodic collection of intermediate waste containers; * Monitor daily hazardous and recyclable waste collections; * Perform daily closing of information and alignment with the environmental department.
